Welcome to the first edition of Involving Times.

This regular e-publication aims to keep you up to date with news and interesting topics in the world of employee involvement, communications and change: a forum for us to put forward contentious and challenging questions for debate.

To kick off, Involving Times has invited me to do some independent research on a thorny question:

Is involvement a part of human nature? It’s one thing to believe that the cooperative workplace would be happier and more productive – it’s another to convince senior leaders that it’s a natural path to success. The answers in my study are not always simple or comfortable, yet are vital if we are to take the next step forward.

Involving Times is produced and distributed by Involve (formerly The Eventworks), as a relaunch of its former publication eFuel. Each issue, an industry expert will be asked to research a key employee communications topic and provide evocative food for thought that will help you in your daily business.
